My name is Alun. The cat's called Pumpkin.

I’m a firm believer in physical media and have a large collection of film and television from all eras, across DVD, Blu‑ray, and UHD. (Seriously, "large" is an understatement. You can see it here.)

Although I’ve previously been published professionally, this blog is entirely personal. It documents my attempt to acquire, watch, and review a film from every country in the world, alongside occasional essays and notes on collecting physical media in an increasingly digital world.
